Op der Schock s.c.
Op der Schock s.c. is committed to the needs of people with mental disabilities. Based on the principle of normalisation and a holistic view of the human being, we accompany and support each user in the individual development of their personality. The aim is to offer them a good quality of life and to promote their social and professional inclusion.
Since 1989, we have been offering employment to people with mental disabilities in our sheltered workshops. Over the years, the offer has been expanded and today we offer a training structure (C.P.P), preparing young people for working life, a leisure service, a day activity service, a consultation and support service (in-house) as well as an accommodation structure.
To successfully include people with disabilities, it is not enough to accompany and support the people themselves. It also requires raising awareness and supporting the social environment, which Op der Schock is committed to in its daily work. Since 2018, we have also been actively involved in the field of inclusive tourism: we offer tourism operators advice on how they can adapt their offers to the needs of people with disabilities, support them in their implementation and offer training for guides.
