Biovereenegung Lëtzebuerg a.s.b.l.

‘Bio-Lëtzebuerg - Vereenegung fir Bio-Landwirtschaft Lëtzebuerg a.s.b.l.’ was founded on 27 February 2012 and renamed “Vereenegung fir Biolandwirtschaft Lëtzebuerg asbl.” after opening up to EU organic farms.  The organised organic farmers have thus created a platform that offers all organic farms and interested parties space to further promote organic farming in Luxembourg. In this way, the Vereenegung fir Biolandwirtschaft Lëtzebuerg asbl. can ensure that the goals of organic farming are heard both politically and socially as a truly sustainable and environmentally friendly farming system, as well as in nutrition and further education.

- Professional structures to optimise support for organic producers, processors and traders. 

- Organisation of seminars and specialist lectures with national and international experts.

- Creation of networks, communication and interaction within the Luxembourg organic farming sector, together with the IBLA organic advisory service.

- National and international cooperation with organic farming organisations, nature and environmental protection organisations, ministries and administrations.

- Assignment of the control and certification of the legally protected collective brands Bio LËTZEBUERG and Demeter, as well as other private brands if required. 

- The association consists of the community of organic producers, organic processors and sympathisers of organic farming.
