T'Charly's Oil
Since 1998, the farm of the Goedert family in Ospern has been managed organically. Besides keeping pigs and Angus cattle, the Goederts have also specialised in plant cultivation over the last decade. The cultivation of gold of pleasure, milk thistle and the mustard plant supports the farm's crop rotation and the production and sale of the three oils allows the farm to generate additional profit.
The oils are pressed and bottled on site with the help of the specially made oil press. After the oil pressing process, the leftovers are processed into oil cakes, which have proven to be an ideal food supplement for animals. This closes another cycle of organic farming.
Charel Goedert was awarded the Organic Agriculture Prize in 2009 for innovations in organic farming.

• Membership of Greenpeace
• Employment of a worker for over 20 years
• Hiring a refugee from Kosovo (1994-2000), then helping him build a life in Luxembourg.
Ecological business management
• Cooperation with 'Réidener Spënnchen', member of the project 'Fleesch vun der Atert' of the cooperative Vun der Atert.
• Unique selling point: the only organic producer of oils (gold of pleasure, mustard, milk thistle) with its own cultivation from the whole of Luxembourg.
